Terms of use.

Scope

These terms cover this website and the client portal. They do not govern any engagement: the work itself is governed by the signed contract for that engagement, and where these terms and a contract disagree, the contract wins.

The site

Everything on the public pages is a description of services, not an offer and not a warranty of any particular outcome. Estimates given before a written scope exists are estimates.

Portal accounts

Portal access is granted by invitation to named people at a client organisation. Accounts are not to be shared; if someone else needs access, ask and they will be invited. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you report it compromised. Access can be withdrawn when an engagement ends or when an account is misused.

Your material

Documents and information you upload remain yours. They are used only to carry out the engagement. Nothing you provide is used as a reference, a case study, or an example without asking first.

Quotes and invoices

A quote is informational until accepted, and expires on the date it states. Accepting a quote in the portal records your agreement to its scope and price; it does not take a payment. Invoices are payable on the terms shown on them, and payment is arranged outside this application — no card or bank details are collected here.

Availability

This is a small practice, and the portal is offered as it is. It is expected to be available, and it is not promised to be. It is a convenient copy of records that also exist elsewhere, so an outage delays access rather than losing anything.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, liability arising from use of this site or the portal is limited to the fees paid under the relevant engagement, and neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

Florida law, and the state and federal courts sitting in Florida. Invariant Systems, LLC is a Florida limited liability company.

Email pendarvis.tj1@gmail.com. Points that need changing for a particular engagement get handled in that engagement’s contract, which is the right place for them.
